Two hundred and eighty ladies supported children with autism as they attending the annual Shine Ladies Lunch in the Clarion Hotel in Cork on Saturday 06th June. Summer fashion was the order of the day as the ladies looked stunning in a huge array of bright summer colours as they arrived for the event. The Shine Ladies Lunch sponsored by Laya Healthcare supports the work of the Shine Centre for Autism. This is the fourth year of the Lunch and the event was sold out within days of being announced. On arrival the guests enjoyed a Champagne Reception before enjoying their four course meal in the Pegasus Suite overlooking Cork City. After lunch the guests were entertained by Shauna Nolan a recent entrant in the Voice of Ireland. Each lady received a goody bag full of wonderful items provided by companies and retailers across the city including beautiful cosmetics from Yves Rocher and chocolates from Leonidas. The best dressed lady was a presented with a holiday voucher from Travel Focus. Laura Crowley of Shine thanked the many guests for attending and the sponsors for their support in making the event such a success and helping The Shine Centre to brighten the future for children with autism.
