Autism and the Mainstream Classroom

4 Week Course

Beginning the 28th February at 6.30pm-8.30pm.(1 night per week)

Venue: The Shine Centre, Carrigaline, Co Cork

Fee- €160

4 Modules:

• Autism:an introduction
• Classroom guidelines and tactics
• Bullying and Anxiety
• Social skills training

This course is ideal for Teachers, SNAs & Resource Teacher working with children with autism as it outlines the causes and drivers that result in issues arising in the classroom. The course also outlines strategies and measures that can be taken to eliminate, avoid or defuse these issues arising and by giving an insight into a child with autism and how best to manage situations for positive outcomes.
